Here are some of the terms for international customers (in addition to our regular terms of sale):

 

*  All international sales are at the customer's entire expense & risk.  OTS responsibility for loss or damage in shipment is limited to the amount that insurance pays, when insurance pays.  Insurance amount on international sales may be limited by the shipping agency.

 

*  International customers are responsible for knowing and complying with all their home country laws.  If special language is required on the invoice, you must advise us.

 

*  While we sympathize with restrictive laws & burdensome tariffs, we will not knowingly misrepresent a gun, its date of production, its caliber, or its purchase price on an invoice or other documents.

 

*  Under U.S. law, we may ship most pre-1899 made firearms directly to international customers.  These are marked "antq" in our catalog. 

*  Guns marked "FFL" were made after 1898.  International customers wishing to buy these must make arrangement with a U.S. licensed firearms exporter.  OTS will ship to your exporter at our usual domestic shipping rates after receiving payment & a copy of your exporter's FFL license.  All further arrangement are strictly between the buyer & the exporter.

 

*  International shipments can be a bit difficult & time consuming for us.  During busy periods, domestic sales & shipments will take priority, and there may be delays on international shipments.  All shipping costs, including extra time by OTS personnel, will be charged to international customers.
