French Percussion Target Pistol by Devisme, Paris - .48 caliber; 10” octagon barrel. - Barrel refinished; excellent plus. - High quality pistol, extremely crisp overall.  Barrel address of “F. P. Devisme a Paris” has been lightened from an excellent period of use reblue of the barrel, 99%+ remaining; other metal is extremely crisp soft gray, with extensive fine stylized scroll engraving on most parts, with a dogs head on the tang.  Excellent mech, nipple & bore.  Excellent fluted stock has slight usage dings, with scroll carving on the forend, and relief flourishes at the top of the grip area. - With a modern compartmentalized case, including wooden ramrod, lead balls, and empty cartridge packet & primer tin. - s/n 1423 - antq - item #AB-FRNC - $1,650

Hilliard Underhammer – percussion shotgun pistol – 16 Guage; 20.5" barrel – Good to fair condition. – Rust brown patina overall with some light roughness; faintly marked "D.H. HIL…/…AST-STEEL" on left side of barrel, rest of marking obliterated by vice marks. Nipple and triggerguard are missing. Good mech. with dark dirty bore.
