Rare Pacific Express Co marked Colt 1877 D.A. “Lightning” revolver - .38 Colt; 4.5” barrel. - About fine condition. - Crisp gun with about 30% original finish remaining.  Strong markings include “PAC. EX. CO. 151025” on backstrap.  Good mech; fairly good bore.  Matching numbers. Intact moderately worn hard rubber grips. - Rare & colorful variation; only a few known to exist. - s/n 151025 - C&R - item #CD-1025 - $3,250

Colt - US Army Model 1902 - Philippine Constabulary version of 1878 DA - .45 Colt; 6” barrel. - About good condition. - Mottled dark gray metal w/ pinpoint pitting overall; good markings including “U.S.” on right side of frame & “RAC” on left; good remainders of original blue.  Working but a bit loose; some pits in fairly good bore; worn hard rubber grips. - s/n - 45742 - FFL - item #CD-45742 - $1,250

Colt - 1877 DA “Lightning” - Sheriff's or Storekeepers Model - .38 Colt; 2.5” barrel. - Fine condition. - Retains about half of original nickel, balance gray w/ some light roughness; legible markings including etched barrel caliber marking.  Working; usual bore; intact hard rubber grips show wear. - s/n 25492, ca. 1880 - antq - item #CD-5492 - $1,250

Early Pall Mall London Colt - 1877 Double Action - etched barrel Lightning revolver - .38 Colt; 4.5" barrel - Very good condition. - Dark metal w/ good remainders of original blue; strong markings include two line Colt Pall Mall London barrel address. Early features include nice etched barrel caliber marking and very nice one piece checkered wood grips, with bullseye ejector rod tip. - Colt factory letter confirms these features, and shows shipped on Oct. 10 1878, 2nd year of production, to Colt’s London Agency. Combination of desirable scarce features on this Lightning. - s/n 7265 - antq - item #CD-7265 - $1,500

Colt - 1877 Double Action - Lightning revolver - .38 Colt; 4.5" barrel - Fine condition. - Crisp frame retains very nice faded but distinct case colors. Sides of grip frame & t.guard show 60% original bright blue, barrel & ejctr hsg 20%, cylinder 20%, grip straps about gray. Crisp metal except for pitting over one chamber. Working; fairly go - ca. 1902. Much better than average specimen of this classic old west sixgun. - s/n 137139 - C&R ffl - item #CD-7139 - $1,350

Colt 1877 DA - Lightning revolver - .38 Colt; 3.5" barrel. - Condition is fine to excellent. - About 80% original bright nickel, stronger on left side than right, much of the loss is on the grip straps, so the gun shows more like 90%. Police marked - Colt 1877 DA - Lightning - .38 Colt; 3.5" barrel. - Mixed, fair to good condition. - Gray metal w/ pepper spotting & light roughness; most markings legible. Not working, missing loading gate; some pitting in fairly good bore. Hard rubber grips, right panel heavily worn. - Mixed s/n’s: backstrap marked "POLICE PROPERTY" is s/n 89641; frame s/n 96353 ca. 1894; s/n obliterated on t.guard. - antq - item #CD-6353 - $450

Colt - Model 1877 DA “Lightning” - .38 Colt; 3.5” barrel. - Mixed condition. - Frame & barrel retains 95% very old nickel, bubbling & flaking; but for the faint barrel address I could almost believe its original plating.  Cylinder & grip frame are matching bright, with areas of pitting, hard to tell what's nickel & what's polished.  Not working (bad case of Lightningitis); replaced reproduction grips. Colt - US Model 1902 - so-called Philippine model - .45 Colt - Good condition. - Dark gray patina w/ scant traces of original finish & some pitting over one cylinder chamber; legible markings including U.S. military marks. Almost working, need mech. tuning. Lightly worn hard rubber grips, w/ repair to rear of right panel. - Oversized trigger & guard are typical of this military model from the era of the Philippine insurrection. - s/n 45419 - FFL - item # CD-45159 - $1,250
