Smith & Wesson - 38 DA, scarce 1st Model revolver - mottled grips - .38 S&W - 4" barrel. - Fine condition. - About 70% original nickel, blended well with light gray metal where the plating is gone, with some light roughness on the right side of the barrel & some pepper spotting on the right side frame. Fine case colors. - Mech & bore are very good. Fine scarce orange & brown mottled hard rubber grips show light even wear. This is the scarce 1st Model ca. 1880 w/ the straight cut sideplate. - s/n2912 - antq - item #DT-1912 - $875
